- The Bachelor of Economics (Natural Resources) with Honours program is offered to meet the demand for graduates with economic knowledge (K-Economy). This program focuses on the application of economic theory to solve various economic problems, particularly in the fields of natural resource studies, development, and finance. Students are also exposed to the latest learning methods such as digital economy, e-learning, and industrial revolution. Graduates of this program are equipped to seize various job opportunities in the private and public sectors, as well as to become young entrepreneurs capable of driving economic growth and development in the country.

The specific entry requirements for the Bachelor of Economics with Honours program at Universiti Malaysia Terengganu are as follows:
- Pass Sijil Tinggi Pelajaran Malaysia (STPM) or equivalent, with a minimum grade of B- in one (1) of the subject: Economics / Accounting / Business Studies; and a minimum grade of C in Mathematics (M) subject in STPM level or a minimum grade of C in Mathematics subject in SPM level; pass at least grade of E in English subject in SPM level.
- Pass Matriculation / Foundation or equivalent, with a minimum grade of B- in two (2) of the subject: Mathematics / Physic / Economics / Accounting / Business Management; and a minimum grade of C in Mathematics subject and pass at least grade of E in English subject at SPM level.
- Hold a Diploma in a related field or have other qualification equivalent and endorsed by the University Senate.
