Bachelor of Accounting with Honours

The Bachelor of Accounting with Honours at Universiti Malaysia Terengganu is a 3.5 year undergraduate program that comprises a total of 126 credit hours. To produce graduates with the necessary accounting knowledge, technical skills and competency to undertake the tasks in the field of accounting, auditing, taxation and management. To produce graduates who are able to think critically, communicate effectively,work collaboratively in team, demonstrate behavior consistent with professional ethics, committed to life long learning, and demonstrate leadership and entrepreneurial skills.

The specific entry requirements for the Bachelor of Accounting with Honours program at Universiti Malaysia Terengganu are as follows:

a) Pass Sijil Tinggi Persekolahan Malaysia (STPM) or
equivalent, with a minimum grade of B- (NGMP 2.67) in one (1) of the subjects: Economics, Accounting / Business Administration / Business Management; and a
minimum grade of C for Mathematics, and D for English at the SPM level, or

b) Matriculation / Foundation or equivalent with a minimum CGPA of 3.0, and a minimum grade of C for Mathematics and D for English at the SPM level, or

c) Diploma in Accounting/related field with a minimum CGPA of 3.0 with a minimum grade of C for Mathematics and D for English at the SPM level.

d) Applicants must have at least Band 2.0 for the Malaysian University English Test (MUET).
