It is one of the largest and fastest-growing global professional accounting body, offering the Chartered Certified Accountant qualification (ACCA or FCCA). The Malaysian Institute of Certified Public Accountants (MICPA) has been developing the accounting profession in Malaysia by providing accounting graduates with an avenue to become a Certified Public Accountant, or better known as CPA. CPA Australia (Certified Public Accountants) is one of three major professional accounting bodies in Australia. It is also one of the largest global accounting bodies, having members through Asia Pacific as well as its home base. The Bachelor of Accounting degree at UMT is accredited by CPA Australia.
The Malaysian Institute of Accountants (MIA) is the umbrella body for the accountancy profession in Malaysia. It was established under the Accountants Act, 1967 to regulate and develop the accountancy profession in this country. Our Bachelor of Accounting degree is a qualification recognized by the MIA.
